What is a group of baby turkeys called?

A group of baby turkeys is called a "brood" or a "poult." Poults are born in nests and immediately follow their mother around in search of food and shelter. They are precocial at birth, meaning they are born with open eyes and feathers, and can walk and feed themselves within hours of hatching. Poults are vulnerable to predators and require the protection of their mother and other adults in the flock. As they grow and develop, they will start to form their own social hierarchy within the group.
